AP Eliminated?

Salaried AP eliminated. Asset Protection as name has been changed to Operations Specialst. Stores are no longer permitted to stop and detain shoplifters. This is going to be epic when people on the street find out. Open season at Cab! I can’t wait to see these inventory losses.

Sports Authority merger years back also did the same things Bass pro is doing. 10 years later no stores left. The writing is on the wall and looks like they sadly are following in the foot steps where others have been. Very sad

I am sure organized retail crime individuals are paying attention to the news. Good luck Bass pro

Good let the madness begin! Bp is so stupid to eliminate ap and think that the shrink numbers aren’t going to be ridiculous. Ap didn’t just catch and deter shoplifters. They also were the only one in the store that had a clue about inventory control and operations as a whole. And let’s not even talk about who is going to identify and investigate internal theft. Guess it’s a free for all for the outfitters. So, with that I say bp deserves all the theft that happens to them and boy will it be a lot!
