So it's apparent we've all seen dramatic changes in our stores. No matter where, volume, or beyond store production. Everyone is getting affected. I've heard many rumors in store level with district level on a new world coming? All that I can puzzle together is last year's big layoff round, another one approaching and district and SMs being consolidated. From a number standpoint if you're making below 30k you're somewhat safe. The higher you're paid the bigger your risk. BBBY is eliminating store manager positions and replacing with an area manager (still has to run their home store and oversee others) D level is either being fired if not favorited or being tossed into store level to save them. No matter how well stores are doing with Beyonds the company is losing greatly. Everyone Have a plan B and prepare for the worst.

I also was let go. And my advice. Leave. I can’t believe how brainwashed I was. The benefits have gone down hill. 401k doesn’t exist. I get paid the same. Work less. And am treated like a human. I was so off for staying for so long.
Joe our fat lazy do nothing Dm is threatening managers with layoff if sales don't change but will not lift a finger to help. He is abc at least 3-4 times a month. ABC=Available by cell. The managers are working heir asses of to keep the company going. And the lazy support staff sits in the office all day long and will not lift a finger to help. If bbb wants to turn things around do away with the out dated return policy. No receipt no return no return over 90 days. Save so jobs.
I was laid off in the first round on August 3. I was there 22 years. Went to another company after 105 days of looking. They treat me so well. I WISH I had left earlier. NO LOYALTY from BBB at all. I gave my heart and sole to that company only to be laid off!
BBB doesn’t value anyone, just wait you’ll see, soon! If this wasn’t so sad it would be funny! The wait is almost over, it’s like being picked for a team and you keep hoping they pick you but your just left standing there trying to figure out what the heck just happened, you just got cut from the team, go home, by!
I like the disgruntled guys comment. Pretty bold statement. You’re next lmao. They don’t value you either. I promise.
Hey who just responded 18 minutes ago.. go eff yourself. I go to work every day keeping up morale and insuring the customers that we are ok. I have invested 25 years in this great company. I’m going out kicking and fighting.
It was said in a previous post “I can’t afford to lose my job”. None of us could afford that but here we are so my suggestion for you is “s--- it up buttercup “ your turn!
My store is down to one store manager and a Ops position D volume are they going to eliminate the salary Ops position
All of us that got laid off in August we’re making 52000 and up.
What is a huge amount?
Why are they penalizing the people who they hired at the salary they are at.
I’ve been with bbb for 18 years and now I’m going to lose my job because I make too much money. I think the people who have been around a long time should not get punished because they helped build the company. Retail has been changing for a long time now. They should have been ahead not lag so far behind. We will soon be know as Bed Bath and Behind. Great company , sad ending.
I can’t afford to lose my job. I work 12+ hour days for them. If what everyone is saying is true I see big lawsuits and bad exposure for BBBY. Obviously they don’t care about the people who are truly dedicated.
It’s really sad that the solution they came up with is to fire all of their dedicated employees. They should start here at corporate with the useless positions which do not help increase sales and are not productive. Start at the top with Steve Tamares that will save 16 million. I feel so sorry for the store personal. Smh
If you're not making a huge amount no. It's mainly managers and keeping everyone at a lower pay cycle.
Any word if this will affect hourly full timers?
