Agree with earlier comment.
Top management folks or few people who are on the vendor finalization body are either getting kickback or forcing prospective vendor to employ their friends, who recently got laid off/fired.
Well it's quite clear if you look at vendor landscape at Avaya. All sorts of vendors work in various departments. There does not seem to have a fixed list or top outsourcing vendors only. This was not the same several years ago.
Clearly indicates some top management may be getting kickbacks in choosing their preferred vendors. Several outsourcing items are randomly assigned.
Quality is not available with some of these service providers.
I don’t know about the original poster but my understanding is work is being moved to other countries that give substantial kickbacks to companies for bringing and/or keeping work there. So rather than layoff workers in those countries they will layoff workers in the United States and transfer that work to those countries so that they can retain the kickbacks.
