Smith destroyed SLB

I used to run a P&L for a country. We made loads of profit before the acquisition. After, I couldn't make any money at all. I had to may the majority of the SLB base overhead cost and we weren't even located there. That's just how they roll.
SLB will run Smith into the ground like they did the previous bit company they bought. The bureaucracy is strangling us.
Oh and this poor grunt makes 6 times what I made at SLB. Not bad for a useless grunt.
And I am now sitting happily working for a major watching SLB guys get walked out the door one after the other and I just smile. So I have no need to get hired by you. Things are better now though. I no longer have to worry about finding a parking place when I go to the SLB base. The lot is getting more empty each passing day. I'm not like the guy who denies work to SLB out of spite. I will still use SLB if they are competitive. Problem is they aren't. They have not won a new contract in 7 years. Truly sad. And the geomobile crew is just nothing short of incompetent. SLB has truly destroyed what is left of CAMCO (REDA). The service quality is pathetic. Your guys can't even install a lead washer correctly. How hard is that anyway?
I wouldn't have hired you at all you sound like a grunt.
Not true. SLB is prejudiced against any acquired company. They believe that if they did not hire you out of college, then, by definition, you must be no good. In our very first meeting with the new HR, I had 13 years and we were told we would keep our seniority. Then they told us at 15 years we would be vested in the SLB program. I asked what the chances were that I would make 15 years and, without missing a beat, the guy said "not very good". Those that didn't quit were pigeon-holed. SLB didn't need any of us or so they thought. After about 2 years, they brought all the remaining legacy CAMCO people back in higher grade code. Arrogance has always been SLB's problem and always will be.
If you were no good at your job then they got rid of you that's how it works.
I worked for CAMCO until we were assimilated by The Borg. I can attest they are a destroyer of companies. I stayed in purgatory for two years and quit the month I was going to be "harmonized". If you work for a company that does get bought and about to get harmonized, keep a tube of K-Y handy to soften the pain. I still remember how the HR guy told me the 15% pay cut was going to be good for me.
Well it ain’t funny. Smith was a great company.
It’s a joke, dummy.
A grumpy old idiot who got laid off years ago and has nothing else to do other than posting the same comment over and over again.
Did smith buy Slb?
It’s not the same comment - it’s the other way round you knucklehead
This guy is posting the same comment over and over again.
