the new business insider article on team members crying and ots empty shelf situation featured many photographs of stores in Miami..this of course made the regional v.p. mr. D.S. take a tour of a few of the Miami stores on Monday...lol...trying to figure out which stores looked so sh--ty due to ots!!!!
Customers have begun asking about our morale...funny how they seem more concerned than leadership..
Supervising means responsible for work assignments, JD's and compensation actions. Just being on the same team is not necessarily a problem. Give your STL a chance to listen and make it right. Retaliation is illegal.
If the member of leadership has a relationship with a TM they directly supervise it is an issue that should be brought first to store leadership and then to TMS if nothing changes. This is HR 101 and not okay even at WFM.
@1edi I have seen it with the busiest days and we haven’t run out of items and our shelves aren’t empty. But what do I know? I guess I would know the success of it
O.T.S. was an idea that came from Walmart execs. Whole Foods thought it was brilliant. Well now the shelves at Whole Foods look just like the shelves at Walmart. EMPTY! Nice going guys! Using Walmart as your plan for success ain't working. It doesn't work for Walmart, but no one should expect great business ideas to come from Walmart. I thought Whole Foods had higher expectations. Guess not!
haaa @1lpp...you must be one of the regional team trainers for ots that travel from store to store and collecting a check..and if ots is working so well how come our store shelves are so empty before our truck arrives in the afternoon 6 days a week..cuz we don't get a truck on sunday..the busiest day..
It’s sad to hear about team members who just won't change with the company. OTS works. But only if the team leaders follow the process correctly.
Anyone fighting to do what ots is designed to do, are the same people who are crying and causing the empty shelves.
A team leader was over here gloating how he fired a 18 year team member for not signing a rotation board...nice colorful magic markers
this system was also implemented to cook the books in terms of balances and to hide how much money was tied up in inventory to investors and a potential buyer..hide the peanut under a shell..also it made whole foods look like they were on top of their earnings by cutting 300 million bucks from stores..and to a potential buyer for the sh-- show it made us look like we were in control of something, anything cuz sales were going nowhere..and can somebody explain to me how clipboards and a lack of product equals sales growth??????
I helped make my store certified than got the hell out. I like to finish things. Much happier now.
I do miss the FREE PIZZA.
My store spent 70k prepping for OTS. what a waste of money. Not to mention the 1000s of $ thrown into the dumpster, from products to hand trucks to U boats. Not to mention the huge investment in clip boards.
@1dpl this is a sarcastic post, right?

Corporate troll in the house!!!
Actually it tells me your clueless about the OTS program. Do your Job and quit crying because you don't like it.
Wow, that last response has the tone of Sean Spicer coming out and scolding the media about the crowd size at the inauguration.
The article is not reality to what is going on with OTS. Nobody's been fired and there's no way someone spends 10 hours in OT because of OTS. The program is basic and if you do your Job correctly with OTS. You will see success in the program, but instead you have Team Members crying because they don't want to work. They rather complain than follow a productive policy in OTS.
They are getting so much bad press for this ots crap..the only reason its still around is the money they spent on the sh-- to implement.
Yep. I saw the writing on the wall and left for greener pastures. The pay doesnt match the stress. Only the insane, self medicating or lost souls stay in that hell.
