INSIDERS and LAYOFFS

Layoffs for all 400 was not a CHK secret and negotiated in the previous asset sales. People in OKC office knew it was just a matter of time, and many will be hire back when the rest of the news is announced. Without insider buying for several months, this spells only one thing...SALE/MERGER

The best thing that could happen would be a sale and a move. Not holding my breath.

If there is a merger coming in CHKs future, there one thing that is certain. The current VPs better start looking for a new job, because they will be the first to go. If you look at ROI for 2017, this leadership group absolutely destroyed value. The MidCon BU lead the way with a huge negative ROI after spending millions. That VP is an absolute disaster and now is set to destroy STX.

WSJ and others have recentlt suggested ARAMCO. OKC local have said seen many "foreign" visitors to the CHK campus. Too many assets with valuable LNG and oil exports. Stay Tuned....

It has been more than a couple of months since insiders bought or sold stock on the open market. I believe the last time was around Aug 11,2017. With all the company employees being laid off you would think someone would leak the news. Is it possible that there are no rumors at the company--hard to believe.
