As an investor in this company, I expect employees to do the job they were hired to do, not playing on the internet and posting negative comments. This is a concern especially during work hours!

Your superiors expect you to do your job and bring value to this company. A number of companies are now banning the personal use of cell phones while they are working. This helps to eliminate employees wasting the companies time and money that they have invested in them. The receptionist can field any emergency calls.

Original poster current employees are doing the work of many employees, working extremely long hours and we’re taking time away from our families. Meanwhile, our retirement continues to decline. So please go f--- yourself.

The receptionist can field emergency calls? A. There are no receptionists B. The personal phones are being used for business purposes since the company quit paying for work cell phones a couple of years back. It's called "bring your own device" and the company does not contribute to the cost of the phone or to the cost of the phone plan. It saves the company a lot of money.
