Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Life Lesson

This just goes to show you that we should treat a job as a job and not our lives. So many people sacrifice time away from their family and loved ones for their jobs, because they feel the company appreciates it and will take care of them down the read. Needless to say, while we sacrifice for the company, the company will not reciprocate the action. Some companies (i.e., Chesapeake) preach unity and family values, but they don't mean it. Oh well, lesson learned.

Blood, sweat, tears, sacrifice, & scrounging, while they all prosper. Pitiful. It will happen again. Keep waiting on your bonuses every year, & say you will leave after bonus season, only to be tortured another year, & another year, & another, only to be sh-- on whenits your turn.
