Layoff Immunity or Infrequently Impacted?

Which departments/areas of WM H.O. consistently avoid being targeted for layoffs and could be considered low risk/stable environments?

Crafts/fabrics, paint, furniture, sporting goods, floral and seafood are under achievers that could all easily be let go.

None. If you want that level of stability, find a job in a company whose reason to exist doesn’t depend only on retail and commerce.

Work for a dept that has a true P&L...all the one off parts of the company are subject to layoffs like merch ex, central ops, modulars, marketing, real estate, store planning, etc... But even the jobs that have P&L's are also not immune
