"Workers Unions" are just that. Workers United to have one HUGE voice. When management is picking on someone to get rid of them, the worker just has to file a formal grievance with their Union representative, who is at your beckon call, and will show up with your Union attorney to investigate, and your club managers have to provide legitimate proof as to why you were coached or reprimanded/cut hours...etc...etc....And for like $5 a paycheck? We spend more than that on scratch Lotto Tickets hoping to hit it big instead of investing it on job insurance. Just like your car insurance, you do not plan on crashing any day, but you have that reassurance that if you were to, you know that help will be on the way. The changing of our raises from monetary levels to percentages, and everyone gets a trophy mentality, would not have happened without "OUR UNIFIED" permission. And if we do not like something unanimously we can all "STAND UP" and protest and we will be backed by our tens of thousands Brothers and Sisters in arms across this Great Nation. The company will humbly come to the negotiations table to make sure we do not walk out so they do not lose "MILLIONS" of dollars per region daily. Our hard work, our blood, sweat, and tears makes this company "BILLIONS" of dollars on a yearly basis. You would think that they could staff it properly, train the newbies properly, which in turn can become better managers in the long run. Instead of the sink or swim mentality. They have proven they do not care to, so, that is where we "ALL" have the constitutional right to "UNITE" and "STAND UP" and demand respect for the worker. It is up to us to rally our Co-Workers. The Managers will not benefit from Unionizing. So keep it between you and your co-workers. Have meetings with your Local Union Representatives at their offices. Walmart and Sam's Club fear a Unionized workforce. Only because then they would "HAVE TO" give us the respect and pay our hard work deserves. Remember the long nights, the short days off, getting called in, filling in other departments to save the day for your Team, giving up your weekends to help another associate out, all your sacrifices for all your many years working at the job you loved........only to be eliminated by self check out, a Change Machine, a Membership Kiosk, a Scan and Go app, click and pull, and Club Pick Up. That all still might happen......but at least we can say we fought for our livelihood, we fought for what we loved and that is all of our Brothers and Sisters out there with families, college tuitions, mortgages, car payments, our customers and members who deserve a smiling face at the register, at the Membership desk, at the café serving them quality food, who understand just by a look and body language that they have had a long day and would enjoy a quick joke or smile, maybe even a hug from a familiar face. It is time us workers finally join hands and stand up for what is "RIGHT". The ball is in our court. Call your Local Workers Union Representatives and get the ball rolling across this Great Nation. Let's give that hornets nest a good kicking. It's time for "JUSTICE".

Not even Jesus himself could get a union in at Wakmart.
Give up and bow your head to your masters. You lost this fight decades ago.
Land of the free my arrss. You’re all wage slaves. Get used to it.
Believe me unions aren't the answer either they never did a thing for me but cost me money
I was in a Union once at a department store. I paid union dues on a minimum wage. A union that negotiated a 2 tier pay. Guess what happen to that store. It went out of business.
I agree with both sides on this issue. Here's a couple of my thoughts..
First, unless I'm mistaken, the UFCW is the only national union that WM employees could bring in. They already represent Kroger. From what I've seen/learned of that whole shin dig, you'd be better off without them! With Kroger there is no extra money, benefits or perks of any kind---plenty of union dues, tho. And if you do get in trouble and need representation, half the time the stewards and reps will claim 'it's out of our hands, nothing we can do.' And I'm PAYING for that? Hell no.
Second, as far as anyone organizing and standing up in solidarity? Sheeeeit. You can't pry anyone away from their phones long enough to look out for oncoming traffic any more, let alone construct a militia.
Last: Yes, Wal-Mart absolutely w i l l close entire stores and/or departments within them. It's happened several times in the U.S. and Canada. They maintain that constant fear and anxiety quite startegically, much the same way riot police do crowd control: nobody wants to step forward and take the first hit.
Nawww, I don't see any union e v e r getting dug into Wal-Mart.
@Publius It is beck and call. I do apologize. Glad I could make you LOL. 😉
I'm with you on that one turk182 ....We have to stand up for what's right... Having complete Faith in our Heavenly Father...Not only that but believing and trusting in our Heavenly Father that he will provide.... All I ask is that we pray my bothers and sisters in Christ.. Turk182 that was beautifully written. God Bless guide and protect you, and to everyone else......GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE....💞💞💞
Unions served their purpose moons ago. Now people don’t want to pay others to speak for them. Unions are known for wasting dues on parties etc.
Walmart is so afraid of Unions, they will be close a store. However, there is power in numbers. They can't close every store. Knowing Walmart they would pay the union big bucks to go their way. 😋😋😋😋
Beckon call lol lol lol
Not NO but HELL NO! You can still get the Companies attention without having to pay for representation. Their Lawyers are the ones who always come out on top!
Unions S---!!!!
They cannot close every single Club and Store right?. 😉 What if we unite exclusively? Just Sam's Club and Walmart Associates? We have to do something. I feel so bad about my Manager and displaced Associates here at my Club. There was a time when we would all stand up for what is right.....that time has come again. I cannot afford to be thrown out in the street. Neither can any of you. If we unite we can at the very least prove them all wrong......that we are not just a WIN #'s, we are not financial burdens. We are people that have made them filthy rich, carrying these stores and clubs on our very backs. Blood, sweat, and tears my Brothers and Sisters. We can come together. We can stand up for ourselves and our fellow Associates.
Walmart will close a store entirely before allowing a Union. What tactics are available to combat those very real threats?
Sorry, nobody is happy with unions.
They cost money and are not useful.
