As a lowes customer and not an employee I can say Sterling is a dirty word to me. God help me if I ask for a price adjustment or anything complex. That's an hour wait. I once had to ask a Lowes employee to call IT to fix an issue. She told me i had to come back the next day to get a $5 price adjustment. She calls IT and they did everything for her. Good grief...
And when I pickup an online order why can't I give my phone number any more? Lowes used to advertise that if you got a mylowes card when you picked up an online order all you had to do is give your phone number. That seems to have disappeared. Now I am expected to memorize a 20 digit order number or they wont help me. One CSR demanded I write it on a piece of paper for her, I couldnt just read it to her.
It seems Lowe's is trying very hard to be the next Sears. They are becoming less and less consumer friendly.
