No one is safe. Support Mgr here and I see the writing on the wall. Walmart is self imploding. They demoted/"offered other choices" to some of the best co managers and the young, clueless on leading people and wm culture were placed in co positions. Seems like it was "out with the old" move and the new culture is not what Sam would have ever wanted. I am actively searching for new employment knowing asms are next then us.
Reading all the doom an gloom relating to walmart As A long term associate myself.Walmart is very manager heavy.Some of the new managers coming in,some seem to be walking of the street with manager bags pined on at all levels.Clueless as to management or even perform Associates task.Yet placed in charge a ken to putting the horse in the drivers seat and the drivers in the harness .New managers is what is ruining walmart from the home office to the felicities.They are literary wondering around aimlessly in the stores.Some couldn't poor pis out on a boot with the instructions on the heal.Now they are scared shirtless knowing they will lose there jobs and couldn't probably couldn't get a job cleaning toilets at another company.As they walk out and know there finished at walmart wondering how they will contuse with there lifestyle,many wont.They will join less than the ranks of the Associates they have been playing favorites with and cutting the hours of the rest.I have worked at walmart for over 20 years.Seeing what some of the CO's and managers have done there will be no patty party for some of these bastards as the pass us on the way down well kick there a-- in our mind as they leave.I'm practically rejoicing as the Aix finally swings ant there heads are on the chopping block.Heads will role
Yes, most of our co managers lost there jobs and more is to come. The rumor is assistants are next then support then dept managers. With no warning.

The Wal-Mart I work at is going from 3 co managers down to 1.70
Sounds fairly accurate to me though... it's between 2.5 and 4 for sure...
