And you thought this was all about Sears. Not at all, even the mighty Walmart is laying people off by the thousands.

I guess Amazon got them too, LOL! I swear they'll blame Amazon when car sales tank too, and the masses will believe it.

Sears has become a true expert on cutting costs in advertising, labor, FIFO inventory and even in its top heavy corporate structure. Unfortunately they have done nothing to stimulate sales which is the core of the issue. When you cut advertising to zero and then you refuse to put frieght into a store and try selling from an empty wagon you fail. At this point I cant see any turn around just a slow lingering death.

None, I invest in Walmart and have doubled my money in the past year. SHLD holds on to the top heavy executive bloat and doesn't actually make the tough decisions to have a profitable business. SHLD makes decisions on how to stay alive, grasping at anything to stay afloat.

Good, profitable businesses are constantly changing and cutting and hiring to better pull a profit.
