Why is anyone ranting anymore about EDMC? The last 4 EDMC schools joined the company weeks ago. EDMC has nothing to do with our campus anymore. The mood is much improved. Gear budgets that we submitted year after year with no result have now been approved and new stuff is rolling in. They are fixing up the campus and asking our support to build relationships with he local community and vendors again. With the new nonprofit status already my student club has secured a sponsor for an upcoming event. I can be doom and gloom but things are moving in a good direction for the first time in years. I can't complain.

Nothing has changed & it's not going to. Dreamcenter has done nothing for employees & nothing for students. They're just calling themselves non-profit for tax purposes.
Things are worse, not better! Instead of stepping it up, the directors and managers have gotten worse. There is little to no leadership. Employees are expected to do manager job duties. Many people have quit.
I want em to stay the course. I love making fun of the ding dongs that believe they make a difference.

This is such a lie! Yes the other schools have joined the pack but nothing has change. The front line is still pressured, micromanaged and working every weekend. At least at The Chicago campus our department heads of admissions and financial aid are evil and talk to people like they are nothing. People don’t quit because they’ve found way better opportunities they leave because the two people over those departments! Going to HR doesn’t work so the only Way the culture will change is to change Management! I’m just going to put it like this they make their numbers by doing shady business and can cause to put the whole school in bad light. DCEH Need to really pay attention and make some changes!
Then why are the same old chumps still in place?
New gear and shift shaping non profit status do not add to anything but the facade.
