Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Prayers to all being let go

For all those who have been affected and for all those who will be affected in the days to come I hope that everybody is able to find new employment before you face true Financial hardships. That would include me as well I'm not high level management but I face the same stress and aggravation as everybody else.

With the constant rounds of layoffs that have been taking place, this seems to be the norm for a large companies who feel that the people are expendable and just another way to add profit to their annual earnings reports and to their majority shareholders that hold large amounts of company stocks.

There are lives and families attached to each one of these decisions that are made; the ones that are making these decisions do not have to look at the families and how it affects them. They will continue to live in their bubble. Treating people with respect was the norm a long time ago, it looks like most of our society has gone to the what's in it for me type of Outlook. So my prayers are with you and everyone else who this is going to affect. I do hope that one day it will change from the what's in it for me Outlook to being actually respectful and understanding that people have to go to work and companies have to be there to allow for employment. For many years there's been lots of news reports saying how factory jobs have all gone overseas, now we're watching our American Corporation jobs go overseas. What's going to be left for the United States?

Yes I know I went off on a tangent and I got sidetracked with my initial statement. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you good luck.
