I suggest that somebody needs to monitor the productivity of the people monitoring my productivity!

These people leaders for people leaders is ridiculous. They bury the few workers left with work and they hide in their offices all day giving their work to the already crippled workers. These lazy a-- micromanagers need to go that make twice what the workers do.
@ievd
My HR resource is literally never around. She's never in the office, her calendar is always solidly blocked out, and she never returns emails or phone calls. She has "open office hours" every week, but only turns up once a month. And when she's there, she's usually on her phone, scrolling through Facebook.
I'm guessing she'll be promoted soon.
Has anyone ever heard of someone from HR being laid off? They have way way way too much power in my opinion. (There I have said it!) Of course someone from HR is probably monitoring my activity and now they know that I have made a disparaging comment. What? Oh wait, someone is knocking at my door, be right back.......................................................
They have layed off many "Indians" but keep the chiefs.
@iztd There was a Global Ops town hall today and someone asked that question. Basically, why are there so many SEBs and EBs at Global Ops if we are supposed to be "transformative" about cost?
and...the organization keeps becoming top heavy with every org announcement that comes out! Still too many chiefs and too little Indians...
Give your HR rep a "consider".
I'm digging this idea. Put it in a powerpoint presentation and set up a weekly meeting to discuss. Just be sure to use GE Inspira, or we will NOT be happy.
Hire better people who don't need to be monitored and save on efficiency. Time for GE to work smarter.
and then somebody to monitor the productivity of the people needed to monitor the productivity of the people monitoring your productivity, or better yet... a digital solution
