At least 11 associates let go in the Walmart Corporate Tax Department today including myself. Lots of good people that did huge volumes of work.

I know this group well. Well organized and hard working. Complex stuff and grunt work. So sorry...
Tax has more directors and senior directors. The ppl laid off were the actual folks doing analysis and operational work.

Sorry for you job loss. I was one of the 11. I only have names of 6 or 7. .won't post them here. But I hope they are going to be ok. Although I am wondering who else is gone.
