Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

The ax comes down tomorrow

Our 4 co mgrs will meet their fate tomorrow. Anxiety is high. I feel for them all. To hold a position and income for so long nd then to face change when lets face it they are not as young as they once were.. These are scary times.. God be with them and what they are facing.

I am in shock but at the same time i am not. I have been with walmart almost 25 years feb 12. These 2 weeks have been the most stressful days of my entire life. I am the only one to provide my family. Having 3 kids ages 12,7 and 4 is very difficult. I have only slept a couple of hours a day. I just hope for the best if any.

As a co manager, I appreciate your kind words and concern. I know my fellow co's and I are also concerned for our family of associates and hate to see their stress level with the change. We will all persevere and be ok. Despite what they offer, I am walking away which has been the most stressful thing of all, leaving my associates yet will always be part of my family.
