Of course you are supposed to tell them you got another job. No one does. However, if they find out, there is a clause in the package that states that you will have to pay back what they paid you when you were employed by someone else while receiving your package. If you get canned, read the paperwork.

TPP is a severance package. In California you can also collect unemployment while receiving your package. As stated 1 week for every year worked up to 8 weeks (4 paychecks), for hourly and up to 20 weeks for salaried (store managers, asms). You can get another job, just not with SHC.
They are only going to know if you tell them you got a new job. What a dumb statement
Are the logistics of it any different than a severance package?
Vacation accrued up to the start of ttp is given within a pay period or 2.
What about my vacation
No paid according to your normal pay schedule for the period of time.
So you don’t get it lump sum?
1 week of pay per year of service Max of 8 weeks if you are paid hourly. Max of 20 weeks if you are salary. Plus, if you get another job during that period, they will quit paying you because you are considered on a leave of absence, and according to policy, you can't have another job while on a leave of absence.
that's a paltry sum of money, should have been 1 months pay for each year of service
1 week pay per year of service
whats the transition package being currently offered ?
It's TPP Transition Pay Package
Temporary Transition Package - which translates to "your b-u-t-t is out the door"
