Staffing Announcements Q1 2018

Supposed announcements this week regarding reduction in staffing for MG3 to MG6 (managers up to Directors). If true, that will give everyone an idea how their departments (PAs & Prof/Tech) will be staffed after they're cut.

Best wishes to everyone.

The bank has net 45 and 39 million respectively in 2015 and 2016, should net a profit again this year so not sure how its not makkng money...

I will agree though to remain profitable it needs to improve adopt a compliant culture moving forward to solve some of its issues.

If they are bankrupt no on the our bank they should cash out!

The bank is a costly regulatory and compliance nightmare that makes us no money and s---s up too many resources both financial and personnel.

I am so glad I found this websight as a 30 year estimatics employee I can relate to others going through the same hell this company is putting it's good long standing employees. This company used to be a great place to work and now it's barely tolerable at all. The iron clad security measures that are taken with the equipment/software makes the job almost impossible to do. The computers, phones are constantly locking you out. You have to call the first line IT support to get it resolved and I know more than they do. Then it has to go to a second and third level support and could take days to resolve. I am a customer facing employee and I am dead in the water without the tools to do the job.

All management is concerned about is a numbers matrix measuring how many vehicles you inspect compared to co workers. Some new to roll estimators are incompetent as they used to be claim reps. and have zero automotive or estimating experience. The company used to be a leader in auto insurance now they follow the loser. I think this is all in the grand plan to have less policy holders and become more of a bank than an insurance company. I guess to be honest I hold a lot of the blame on auto repair shops that took the bait from the bottom of the deck insurance companies that only focused on price. These companies bid aftermarket parts, discounted parts and labor and the shops took the bait with the promise of more work being on their direct repair program. This has brought the whole industry down and now all you have is garbage.

If they are/were externals the 3rd parties are responsible for screening.

If they get hired by SF, SF,s third party conducts the background check. They do not get a free pass. Stop the racist stereotypes and comments. That is conduct unbecoming and does equate to a code of conduct violation.

Last several years, due to very very lenient HR screening, lots of indian ladies could make it to statefarm in full time positions, though they are not fit for anything except speaking sweet English and pursuading managers to go up the rank. How come these ladies, vast majority of them, being on H4 dpendent visa for many years before getting EAD, all of a sudden joined SF as full timers in very good paying positions. Staged and fake experience, fake references ofclose friends, fake pay stubs. Did anyone bother to verify their W2 forma for the experience they claimed in their resume . First do that and u s e how many hundred and of these ladies will be shown the door. Isn’t it a serious violation of code of conduct. Everyone knows that interview is a mere set of 10 subjective questions that anyone can answer. Those are were fired as externals also joined SF in full time. Who will do the probe into these folks who even became managers and Test managers at SF full time. Are these people not denting the chances of really qualified and experienced folks who had to go thru severance process. I feel very pity for these victims because of the lousy and lenient HR 3rd party screening. Let SF call IRS and obtain W2 forms for the fake experience that all these ladies claimed . Thes excesses piled up, numbers increased in payroll but no addition to productivity . That’s one of the main reasons for the so called sorry state today. I am not kidding when I post this . Very serious and true. I tried reporting this to external staffing a fee years ago but no one seemed bothered about this as there is no ownership.
