Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN

I don't know if any of you have noticed but WS is positioning itself to be sold off to anyone willing to pick it up. This is why they are prioritizing the acquisition of other companies (network coverage) over employee morale and before they can get things straight with the companies they just bought. Think how long ago we acquired Earthlink and we still haven't fully integrated them into our systems or much at all for that matter. Meanwhile we've acquired another 2 or 3 companies since?

To them its all about growing the footprint of the network to make it more attractive to a potential buyer. Employees will continue to be cut at every turn to fund this mad dash to the bottom, while they keep buying more and more until they are finally sold. This is all about the greed of a few execs at the top.

Here's a "few of those execs" that were mentioned earlier.

Notice the stock options and power of attorney filings from 2-9-18.

Frontier is in just as bad of shape as Windstream. Two negatives do not make a positive.

Hope to god not frontier because they are one of the worst companies to work for. They have like a 23 percent approval on Glassdoor.

They just want to be bought not merge. Think about it. Management cut the dividend to do a stock buyback to inflate the price and are actively trying to buy as many companies as possible to increase the network footprint. Their buyback is failing horribly tho since most of the market is shorting the s$$$ out of the company. This all for the payday of those at the top that own 100s of thousands of shares. If they can inflate the price and get someone to purchase for the network they will all sail away with their 6-7$ or more per share from the buyout company. Employees will continue being cut and departments crippled for this to happen.
