I was just wondering if anybody knows what kind of criteria was used for these layoffs?
I'm pretty sure it was not meritocracy, since we've lost one of our best employees while somebody who is barely doing anything day in, day out is still here.
Was it pay grade? That's the only thing I can think of for the illogical choice they made. And if it was, boy is it going to come back to bite them in the a--. You don't lose some of your best employees in the name of what will turn out to be short-term savings.
