Well, I just got laid off from Windstream. Good thing I've got n interview tomorrow.

I got let go, Ops Support in Greenville. last day Feb 1
OSP construction/ Engineering .. seen it coming when net-ex was cancelled .. no big shock
Charlotte,NC has lost some also. From my understanding they are looking to lay off about 500 company wide today.
5 from Facility Provisioning in Harrison, AR
I know of two Project Manager's in OK that were laid off. One of them has 40+ years experience and was extremely good at his job. I'm sure he drew too high of a salary. Windstream baffles me.
Georgia engineering hit hard. Were sent home effective immediately.
Twinsburg lost an engineering staff manager, engineering manager, and engineering analyst so far. Seems to be the brunt of it from an engineering side.
Twinsburg station reporting, lost two, engineering director, and engineering analysis, day is not over yet.
I'm sure there are more to come. I'm getting laid off too. They told me this morning my last day is at the end of the month.
I heard there were going to be a lot. What city are you in?
