Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

What’s the point of shopping at a Macy’s store?

There’s no point of going to Macys anymore. The service is terrible and you can’t find help. Where is the aspirational experience?

The Macys name used to mean something in retail. Now it’s about the same as Kohls. The brands are a little better but not that much better. May as well order from Amazon versus dealing with the Macys experience.

The merchandise has gone downhill too. If you want nice stuff, go to a Nordstrom.

What is the point of this post? What does this have to do with layoffs?

If Easton is the store Iif the future, in Columbus Ohio. Apparently the experience is ipads and video monitors and touch screens everywhere with a slick design and loud music. Looks good with no substance.

same tired clothes ...still hyping up Michael Kors as high-end. Trying to offer everything and stand for nonething. The Store is cluttered with so many fixtures you can't walk and you still get no service at a so called platinum store.
