There has been talk for years the Personnel (PTC) is being eliminated. With so many processes being outsourced or turned over to management, it's obvious, it's coming but WHEN?

Some stores only have a personal person that also does the training since they eliminated the training coordinator. Slowly being implanted in certain stores.
Not sure when ... but new document/policy posted on the wire in mid December 2017 entitled "demotion exception policy" addresses how to handle members of management stepping down/losing position. Personnel manager is one of the many positions addressed in the policy. You cant just step down to another position anymore ... you have to get senior leadership approval via an exception now.
This question has been asked 100 times, no one has a response to it. I do not think it is on the table yet, but coming.
