i hope no layoff comes. In Northern Cal, I've seen a lot of young engineers jump to Apple. Smiling as they go.....
I am hearing 5 to 8%, company wide, to be conducted from March thru May. Mainly IT, hdd development, and the thinning of the ranks in all the recent acquistions.
Management will not be affected because they've done nothing wrong.
