Thread regarding Dril-Quip Inc. layoffs

Won’t shutdown

Severe weather warnings dril quip still won’t shut down for today they don’t realize safety off employees. What about drive home it’s very slick and dangerous to be on the road if they wait to long. All other companies close down and schools due to weather. Thought dril quip was about safety first?

If you wait for Drill-Quip to tell you what to do you are the idiot. Watch the news, if the roads are going to be icey. CALL IN!!! STAY HOME!!

This isn't the first time DQ has put the screws to their employees. If you remember, back in April 2016 (Tax Day Flood) there was at least 3 feet of impassible water at the plant entrance. Those employees who risked coming to work that morning and were forced to go back home were never paid.

The mayor just issued a warning to stay off roads the longer you wait the worst it’s going to get.
