If GE is cutting down to three key industrials, what is going to happen to Global Ops? Aviation had a big project last year to offload as many people to the Cincinnati center as they could, but they are crammed in with lighting and other employees whose business is for sale. If those employees are sold with their businesses, where are they going to get more bodies to fill the center?
I've heard the Cincinnati center has entire floors that aren't even built out yet, and I've heard the center leader, JA, say that the center is going to fail unless they get work in from other companies. Any truth to that?
Just curious. I work in Aviation, but so far haven't been shifted to Global Ops. If they do, I plan on finding a new job. That's an awful commute, and it doesn't seem stable there.
