Has anyone heard anything about the fate of Fire Field Reps? Hearing rumors we are all going to be replaced by outside Independent Adjusters within next 2 years...

Agreed. I'll be switching all my policies to competitors shortly. Knowing what I know about the internal workings of the Farm, I simply do not trust them to properly handle a legitimate claim, and I certainly don't expect anything in the way of customer service.
customer service will continue to go down the pot. took all of my accounts to usaa. much better rates and service. not feeling bad at all and i saved a lot of money. would be a fool to have your policies with the farm.
That cat reps sitting at home between assignments has been stupid since inception.
They want all in hubs. It’ll take a while to get there but slowly but surely it’ll happen. May leave a few in field but most will probably be outsourced.
Pooling has already started in the field. Cat folks will back fill when they are home either thru proximity work or virtual. No more sitting at home waiting between assignments. OT will be limited.
The best approach is to have independents handle claims on a per-file basis. The more they handle and close, the more money they make. When the work is done, they get released. Lots of independents always looking for work.
I have heard that third and fourth quarter this year for claims will go through a 'pooling' process again. The result of which will be downsizing in the field but possibly building in the call centers
I've heard the same rumors... I'm wondering the same about proximity SIU too??

2 years? Probably happen before then just based on what’s happening everywhere else at the farm.
