What's the general feeling at AG about being a Mattel subsidiary? 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of us acquiring you, and yet I always get a feeling of resentment towards your parent company from you guys, almost as if the association with Mattel was never fully embraced. Is the One Mattel policy not a good fit?

To previous commenter claiming ex radica. You aren’t ex radica if you claim to be still hanging on in ES. What dept was it that you worked in again? State your opinion all you want, but don’t make false claims. Some of us still give a s#!+
Fight your managers and revolt if you're unhappy.
I tell people I work for Fisher-Price. Proud of that name.
I worked at radica and managed to get transferred to ES and have hung on. Mattel has a way of convoluting best practices and increases time wasting.
Fisher Price employee here: Mattel wrecked us.
Mega employee here: Being a part of a huge corporation is great but the amount of added process to our workflow almost crippled us combined with having that nasty whale looking over us for a time made things even worse. We almost petitioned for another canadian holiday when she was given the boot. Never were there so many unhappy Canadians in one place at one time. Mattel needs to run by the adage if it's not broke don't touch it. They messed up big time here as I'm sure they did everywhere else.
It's really a mute point...most anyone who would know AG any other way is no longer there. I think processes are more complex than they should be since we are one, but business is business. I usually tell people I work for Mattel as it kind of sounds cool, then ill throw in the AG aspect, which I am also proud to say. So, I think most of us our proud but hope that our parent company can turn things around and give us the chance to also do better. We need to reclaim our premium rep or we have no business selling our product at the price tag we currently have, makes no sense
