Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

The emperor has no clothes

Well I was hoping the Summit would inspire me and reinforce the narrative of Citrix being a great place to work. After the laugh we all got at the DH keynote that “Citrix is the 19’th happiest place to work” and then a random wiki record for the “largest human formation to spell WIN”, it has become obvious Citrix is grasping at straws to put lipstick on the massive employee morale train wreck.

The Gaggle of AVPs, VPs, SVPs, EVPs and *VPs would try to convince the workers that Citrix is the greatest place on earth to work so they can collect their massive bonuses while the rank and file are barely paid in the 40th percentile.

Who are they kidding, Citrix has become top heavy with more executives being shipped in from SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and other places to create another good old boys network.

It’s all a mess and don’t bury your heads in the sand hoping it will get better.

These *VPs need to get paid so the only solution is layoffs and attrition.

There a lot of VPs, AVPs, SVPs, GVPs, EVPs, and many more categories of VPs.

With all th VPs who is doing the work ?

Citrix will crush itself under the weight of all the VPs

If you look at the Forbes report where Citrix was placed 19th it uses data from an employee review website where the last rating for Citrix was 2013, they still have Mark T as our CEO and the average wage is on average twice what it is for every other company in the top 50.

Don't worry peeps. The fact that Sr.Director and VP ranks are swollen and ripe for trimming is a common knowledge at this time. DH has some weaknesses, but he is not an idiot when it comes to finances and knows where to cut to maintain the balance

Well said, there are too many redundant VPs

No kidding are we top heavy with Mangers / Executives. With alot Directors only having like 2 or 3 reports.

Manager, Sr. Manager, Director, Sr. Director, AVPs, VPs, SVPs, EVPs, etc.

If Citrix was serious about saving money they would stop chopping the people actually do work and thin out the number of useless managers and executives.
