Fellow service, support, and assistant management staffers! Have you lately been questioned about knowingly minuscule things that now possibly put your job in jeapordy? I was invited to speak with our store Human Resources lately, and multiple questions were asked regarding: job functions, the way shifts are organized, employee engagement, training, etc... Some of the questions regarded issues that I myself have no control over. It actually went from general questions to a more disciplinary type conversation about half way, where statements and such were even requested. Has anyone else run into this just of late?

All they want for service managers are inexperienced who will do whatever they ask. ASM's just dump on them so they can leave early. None of these know the correct way to treat people or how to perform a decent job. They would be fired if in a normal job elsewhere due to the s-xist comments they make and calling people "old lady" or "old man". They get mad if you comment back and then take away all the help to make your life even more miserable. One service manager even admitted recent changes are to try to drive the full timers out of the store.

At my store the service managers run the show, the store manager and his minions (ASMs) hide, stand around and look at the seasonal cashiers, are in meetings, or act like stock clerks as they move around the too many side stacks that litter our aisles.
Good Lowe's needs to do this. Too many people in positions that don't have a clue. most Service Managers run it like a department manager. They don't know how to handle 3 departments. They were never given the training what to expect. The ASM's used them like their personal b--ches and the system broke down. This is the worst run company I ever saw..
