Final nail in Broadcom coffin

So, now that people are openly expressing national security concerns related to Broadcom takeover attempts and calling for reviews, anybody else thinks this could be a final nail in that coffin?

@RYa8ksE-gmt nailed it correctly.

What different is this acquisitions by AVGO w.r.t to the others they have done in the past. every company has their own IP, unique and have own set of security concerns. Qualcomm is unique but not any different to be acquired by AVGO and provide value to the share holders.

didn't Qualcomm purchase CSR in UK as an example ? want there a security concern ?

Never mind the existing national security concerns that already exist at Q... we have offices in China and a dozen other countries with access to IP. SD is using uncleared foreign nationals to create much IP. Heck, foreign employees outside the US are helping to create that IP!

But let’s be real. CDMA and spread spectrum were classified US military tech over a half century ago. Q hasn’t matched that feat in decades now. The US doesn’t lose much if the Chinese discover our super secret 7 nm toilet paper.

@RYa8ksE-gdb --"It‘s only seen as a problem by people who can‘t tell the difference between Singapore and China. US policy is still made by people who know basic geography though."

Funny and true!! Made me LOL

Keep telling this to yourself, stay in denial. These things are all gimmickry, to instill fear in smaller share holders. Institutional guys don't look at Bloomberg as their source of info to decide how to vote.
