If layoff in Pune which is cost saving center compare to all other locations, then Avaya must be in deep trouble. No growth in Pune from last 3 years, no backfill, no new project. I am loosing faith in Avaya growth and may soon close down :(

Yes agree most of the layoff was 20 and below that means all mangers have updated their skills and ready for Lean,Agile,DevOps,Cloud,AI hahahaha
Summary
Engineers are expected to do AI without any defined use cases.
Engineers are expected to work on cloud without any planned and end to end solution architecture.
Sr. Managers and Directors conduct Hackathon's to get ideas from engineers because they are incapable and unskilled to think out of the box. They are even incapable to judge good and bad ideas which can be turned into a sellable solution.
End of the day who is fired, poor engineers.
There is no future at Avaya.
Most of us above 8 year's experience are at risk. Company needs new talent for new product development. And the funny part is that managers still remains the same.
