Here is my brief rant about "Poor Change Management and Executive Communication". I hate the situation we are all in right now. It’s bad, it’s stressful and many are affected. However, I get where they are going with this and as a plan, it has some reasonable elements if the Farm wants to survive for another 100 years.
What ticks me off is the execution of the plan. It’s plain sloppy and in many respect it’s unprofessional. We need to be doing things much quicker and in a much more transparent fashion. There is so much confusion, so many rumors and conspiracy theories are flying around the office (what you see here on layoffs.com is just a fraction of things I hear in the office every day).
The agony is prolonged and it’s made worse by extremely poor change management and communication plans – the executives do not come across as sincere and this feeds the overall sense of betrayal and chaos that’s so easily felt after reading just a few posts here.
I will be moving on this year, no matter what happens with my tenured position I am done with all of this and will see to find myself a place where I can work in a relatively sane environment (will likely take a paycut but that’s OK).
I wish you all the best and good luck.
God bless!!!
