In estimatics in WV. Got email advised Opt In/Opt Out date has changed to "be determined". Only a few of us left in the state. Are they considering getting rid of the rest of us and going single bid? What a bunch of crap...uncertainty and stress.. Guess our times up!! TM is worthless..no help at all!

Word is here in NC that field estimator positions to be cut up to 50 percent. I'd like to know how they expect the cars to be inspected. Are other areas getting the same word? I think they want to eliminate this position entirely.
We here ya from down south! The uncertainty is bad enough, but then you have to deal with threats and intimidation! This should not be happening and should not continue...some things are just wrong! There are better ways to handle things...like honesty, truth and integrity, much of which is lacking on the management levels. Bet most of them have their golden parachutes already attached. Already seen it by some that have packed up and left Bloomington for other "safe" positions within the company. Looks like some got early tips before the ax fell and made the move. I guess it's just like an "old boys club"....it's not what you know, it's all about "who you know"
So someone copies my comment from another post, to look like an original post and then someone replies to it with PC bullcrap...hummm. Looks like a CYA to me from somebody. Maybe they're getting worried too. All I can say is, we are told we're in and now it's a wait and see, maybe we're out...got kids, health issues, family, do your best and it's not good enough! How about telling it like it is the first time and leave out the crap! And yes, we all are sick of crap!
Unfortunately, the TMs and even SMs and CMs are in the dark about a lot of this stuff too - learning of things only a few hours before affected employees do. It's being driven by levels above the CM, and CMs and below have no say in what happens until the after people opt-in/out. At least that's what I've heard.
