More layoffs expected after announcement of product discontinuation. If you were not fired in this round it is just because they had some dependency on you. Expect it by mid March after meeting of global leads conclude and new product strategy is announced.

Very unhealthy atmosphere at Pune now. All existing employees have started turning the pages of the books. All are preparing for interviews. Everyone wants to leave after witnessing such a biased round of layoff. The employees now have no trust on management. Caution for the management - Don't you think that employees have started learning new skills for the sake of Avaya but they are doing it to get a better job in other companies.

To existing employee's, Did you clarified from your management what skills are required to continue working at Avaya? Otherwise after 6 months they will fire you saying you aren't skilled.
heard that there is another round of firing in may. And after what happened last week in pune and hyd , managers can't be trusted when they say that this has ended.
