We are getting 10 months notice in Tacoma and no relocation assistance. Express is going to Bloomington and Auto ILR to Phoenix with some positions from both in Dupont. If you work in one department and your spouse works in the other as is my situation; you are limited to applying for the limited positions in Dupont. They fully acknowledge that "not all positions will be replaced" and that people will be out of work. State Farm no longer takes care of employees.

The comment regarding "Job creators" is spot on. Voting for these "pro business" politicians is akin to slitting your own wrists. Chickens are not coming home the are home and the common man is on the outside looking in. A lot of folks voted and vote against their own economic interests. Enjoy fighting for scraps off the table of said "job creators" and scapegoating "those people." Lots of strawberries need to be picked.
10 months??? We got the announcement a long time ago that unless you’re a proximity worker you’re job function would be moving to the hubs or corporate. You have to be blind or incompetent to not understand that there will be no DuPont in the near future either.
No company truly cares for its people. By design, that’s not what companies do.
Not so long ago a company had to take care of its people, as they were essential to do the work. Not the case anymore. The only thing people are good for in a structure like State Farm, at this point, is to either 1. Perform a task until it can be automated. Or 2. Actively work to automate a task. (This isn’t unique to State Farm).
So... our society is going further into debt to kowtow to the f---ing “job creators” (forgoing our.own healthcare and the education of our future tax base) in the hopes that they “come back to our little town and “make it great again”.
Please. Our society is being raped. Can we PLEASE stop pumping the rapist full of viagra?
