Rumor is that March 5-6 is when the announcement is coming for overstaffed roles
Do we know if this is true? I'd be really happy if that were the case, to be honest,m as I'd rather see this over with, then have to wait any longer not knowing and stressing.
Next week sounds good to me, whatever the result.

I can’t speak on that persons behalf but in my position the call center operation is a massive expense that provides very little return. Reps have no empowerment to do anything or make decisions. They regurgitate scripted generic responses for agents and staff that refuse to seek out any information themselves. This also fosters the mindset that agency can pass the blame on to “the company” if they give their customer wrong information because that information was spoon fed to them by a call center. They refuse any accountability or responsibility.
I think the call center concept is very outdated but yet SF continues to build an organization that is essentially a glorified call center.

About 19 or so roles were announced as being overstaffed a few weeks ago. Supposedly March 5-6 will be the announcement of what's happening to those roles.
Watch for verbiage stating the job is always being evaluated, or restructured, etc. Be very careful when posting for jobs within the company, especially if you know they've recently cut people. Do yourselves a favor and get out while you can. And do not, ever, apply for a call center job. They are proving to be unsuccessful and on their way out.

Rumors are actual movement won't happen until June or July. But, just that - rumors. I agree with OP -- let's get this show on the road. Could you imagine the agony of waiting another 3 months??!
Even if it's next week, it's probably only the beginning of the stress, unless they're prepared to hand out the QTDs to specific individuals as well. Of course, they might be. Who knows what machinations have been going on behind the scenes.
