Does this have to do with everyone leaving Cabela's in Sidney?

Deep dark days are on the horizon I am afraid
Sorry about that sending from my phone
Since I have left that 'ahem' community and company, my eyes have been opened.
The news just gets better and better for that 'community'.
Deep dark days are on the horizon I am af if.
Every time I mention to people in the industry outside of Sidney (I have since moved) that Cabelas outsourced their creative to Sidney, I am met with either a chuckle or eye roll. When I ask why, they wish Cabelas good luck with that. Quad has a terrible industry reputation and close facilities every year. If you think Cabelas doesn't care about its employees, Quad is even worse. The employees there should be looking for sure.
My daughter works at Quad, & she was told her job would be vacated by the end of May.
I interviewed there...the pay was insulting. I left SIdney, best thing I ever did!
Note, that Quad said they had a 5 year contract. They didn't say that they had a 5 year commitment to Sidney. If they want all of BP business, my guess they are going to be in Springfield.
They may keep Quad open. I know what these people are being paid. Way, way below the national average.
Also I know people who work at other Quad locations and they make considerably more.
the Broomfield media team is over-rated and too much overhead when we have a very capable team in Springfield. the CAB CIO will string them along long enough to migrate the site to basspro.com and then goodnight Broomfield.
Don't they have contracts . It would be foolish. Very talented media folds running the web sites
Denver corp is going to be closed up soon.
mo’ money mo’ problems

I’m sure this one will prove to be correct.
as sands through the hourglass.
In every thread no matter how crazy they may sound to some, there is a grain of truth.
Contracts you say? But Quad kept saying that their 5 year contract had to be honored by Cab/BP...No matter what the results of the buyout.
(Insert sigh and eye roll here)
Ah well, I guess all employees in Sidney should be used to the "inconsistencies" by now.
I heard that it has to do with contracts and they will know in May.
So typical of Sidney the rumor capital of the panhandle.
I see it has not changes since I left.
Enjoy
Applebee's and now this??
Denver corporate will stay open
