Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

ha!

pretty sure i've said it before, but my lasting legacy to COPC is seeing "Uncle Ryan" become the ubiquitous moniker for our clueless leader.

still cracks me the fk up.

to this very day.

but hey, commodity prices are up so we should all pretend that the $$$$ we spent for ECO recommendations never happened. i'm sure all the unnecessary bureaucratic bloat is positively necessary for our survival, because hey...we can afford it again.

What cracks me up is that is the ONLY thing you will be remembered for. Certainly something to brag about a few years from now to your friends at the assisted care home. You will be a legend.

Sounds awful. Best quit while you’ve still got a pulse. We’ll try to survive without your unyielding agony of labors.

No time for outlets and hobbies. We get s---ed dry of life here, and if we don’t dedicate our lives to this place we’ll be kicked to the curb during the next round.

He has a point, we haven’t changed as an organization and had no will to, we have only sat around hoping prices would go up. We can lay off the average Joe but when full organizational change including leadership was challenged we balked because little empires might fall. It’s not what we do, it is how we do it!

You really need a hobby. Or some sort of outlet.
