No one will hire Principals from QCT with no technical background. Companies in SD know very well how you get to principal......so don’t bother.

Even then, they should be offered elsewhere within the company. Trust me, Qualcomm would need th expertise of these folks in difficult times.
No one at or above Principal title would be laid off. They are the stars of the company and should be retained.
