After layoff - SLB fails to disappoint

Trying to get my international pension payout has been fun. Of course I am following up continuously through askhr and getting told "just waiting on an approval". To be fair they did mention it would take 2-3 months but at 3 months now and all the followup, beein ridiculous. This is not rocket science, I could few my balances while employed, just pay it out for god sake. This has been the life in SLB, appoint manager after manager to chase after each other to get a meaningless approval 50 times over. For sure this reminds me why I am not sad being forced to part ways with the life s---ing brain draining roles at SLB.

To "Fails to disappoint" comment, that is very astute of you. Any other way would not make sense. My expectation was that they would take forever, I am familiar with their processing. They succeeded in my expectation.. And I am still waiting. No way to contact anyone other than through myaskhr which to be read by anyone takes days anyway.

Fails to disappoint is a double negative. So SLB actually succeeded then. Well done SLB.

Forget the pension and learn from this experience and move on with your life. Pensions are low priority with most companies and getting worse. Soon it will be up to the individual and not the company to fund your retirement.

Are you vested? Is this the 1 time payment of non-vest pension money?
