Everything is now in place for new ownership to cut major costs and begin the dismantling of what’s left of the University. Greatly reduce pay for directors, managers and academic, finance and enrollment representatives. Their plan makes perfect sense from a business standpoint involuntary pay reduction so individuals self select to leave and avoid handing out large severance packages as well as avoid having to pay unemployment. Those who remain will now be doing three or four times the work for a fraction of the pay and goals will be more unattainable than ever. Beginning Q4 those who are left will endure yet another mass layoff but the only difference is their severance package will be at a fraction of the cost for new ownership. Corporate America wins as it always does..profits still pile in , they save millions in compensation and they accomplish their main goal of becoming lean. Those remaining will struggle to handle the workload of all the main departments with Q.C. being eliminated and the duties of academics, finance and enrollment combined . Also on the agenda is vacation and sick hours. These will be heavily altered this coming September and capped to aid with the smaller workforce that will now be available to assist students going forward. It’s important to ask yourself , is losing my salary, vacation and sick and any hope of growth still worth the headache? Have your eye on the next goal, Get Out! Start looking and just know there is something much better out there. If enough can do this , UOP will be left to burn and I guarantee you this is one Phoenix that will be unable to rise from the ashes!

No pot lucks!!! The outrage!!!! For the love of Po. NOOOOO
I have read the initial statement four times. I conclude no one should make any long-term pot luck strategies.
it will simply collapse
It's already happening on the academic side. Class sizes are hitting 30+ from what I've heard. In the "good old days" classes were 12 - 15 (hard to believe!). Instructors could give a lot of personal attention and the educational product was pretty good.
Now? To give any kind of attention instructors will be working for minimum wage, or less.
But there will always be people who have no other options and are willing to work for that rate.
