Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Feb. 14, 2018 - Valentines Day Pepsi Layoff Massacre!!

Well, just like many of you, I was laid off!!! The corporate world is full of pigs and snakes. They all smile to your face and give you the assurance that everyone is safe. But at the end, when you are least expecting, you are cut-off. The IT mandatory meeting that we all attended 3 weeks ago to boost work moral was a sham. The layoffs were already decided by then. This is disgusting! What is "amazing" is that the tax cuts provided by the Trump administration mostly went to the rich pigs a.k.a shareholders instead of the people who work hard and and hold the Pepsi infrastructure on their shoulders. Other US companies passed on the tax cuts to their support staff, avoided layoffs and even created jobs. But not Pepsi. They need to feed the pigs. The leadership are running like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut-off when it comes to making decisions. Such terminology as "diversity" and "journey" means that layoffs are coming. How do they expect to have people's moral high when everyone is worried about being laid off???? Bunch of @#$%%@.

Lawsuit anyone????

You forgot to mention that the current CIO used to be a admin, zero knowledge of IT, but since she was a admin for Apple that makes here qualified in leaderships eyes.

IT at PepsiCo is bloated with a bunch of overpaid bureaucrats who spend their entire days in meetings. Then you have the Indian contractors who just take orders but don't have a clue what's going on. You have security which is now the most overstaffed part of IT. All in all, IT is a dumpster fire that will continue to burn.
