What do these lazy sacks do all day? Why does no one in store leadership help anyone with anything? Why does this position exist?

LAZY!? You must be joking! It takes alot of hard work to walk around the store leering at the female shoppers, trying to f**k whichever team member who will give you the time of day, engaging in conversations that make even the most un-p.c. people balk. Its also difficult work coming up with halfassed plans for resets, bad promotional ideas and thinking of new and better ways to make those under you feel like crap daily. They have to do all of these things whilst hiding the truth of thier uselessness from the STL who himself has checked out years ago, spends his working time playing on social media and deciding who he can get rid of in order to promote his friends. It might not be this bad at other locations, but it sure is this bad in Rocky River, Ohio.

My point ASTL for my team doesn’t really help us for nothing, just calls all day: can you get this, can you fix this?, can you pick up this? Can you get a sign?, can you help me find this? , what happened to this item (item has been discontinued for months) ? Zero team work

Some are good some are bad. Frustrating having TLs who are better than ASTL but are stuck. I believe that with the restructuring they should also restructure ASTL if needed and put strongest TLs there. I have nothing against ASTLs. In fact I think our store and most went downhill when they switched from 2 to 1. Took away a lot of advancement opportunities too.

I mean who else is gonna sit in the office all day, watch us on the camera, then come get us to go sack up front when something they want is due in 10 minutes... and then they go back to the office to watch the cameras. WHAT A JOKE. I AM TALKING ABOUT YOU.

It's mind numbing how many of these conversations boil down to explaining to people how businesses work. Am STL should not be throwing load, that is such a waste of their focus.

They have tons of crap to do and work long hours. You’re paid to do your job so they can do theirs. You want them to do both? You wouldn’t want their job. Trust me. It’s nauseating!

Definitely depends on the store. My ASTL and STL help us run truck, build displays, etc. They don't mind helping out and getting their hands dirty. On the other hand, I've worked with some who sit at their desk all day doing who knows what.

They're walking around with clipboards and filling out useless TPS reports all day long
