Remember when there was much excitement about "choosing your days and hours?" Then it turned out to be a bunch of BS.... we want you to be happy...BUT we come first... AND whoever thought that a 3 week schedule is a good thing is full of S***.... does anyone really make plans that far ahead?

remember how they makes us "vote" to cut our benefit packages every couple years to help the stockholders bottom line....I loved that little game"where else do team members get to vote on their benefit package"..that line o sh--....every time it was pre ordained some level of cuts and we never got to design the changes in the first place..

The line "We're just four walls and food" is the saying around where?

Amazon didn’t make the list either. Wegmans and Publix did, though.

Being on that list was always kinda hokey anyway. It was not done with a survey of TMs or even targeted "yesmen" singing feelgood songs...it is rated on other metrics that right now I am forgetting. Each year I remember thinking "What TMs are they asking?" and then I looked into it. Dropping off the list can't be good, but I just hope this adds a bit of perspective.

Wow, we're not on the list this year? End of an era for what used to be a very special place to grocery shop and work. Seriously, when is someone at the top going to wake up and realise the damage that is being done on so many levels? As WFM TMs, we used to be expected to give feedback, opinions and find solutions.....I tried my best, but no one is listening. Sad.

Maybe, just maybe, those who are in charge will realize that TMs cannot be bought with free pizza, crappy T-shirts, water bottles etc... Maybe they will begin to see that too much change all at once has a negative impact on TMs... maybe someone will step back and realize that there are larger problems at the store level besides OTS

In case you were not aware this is a big deal. This is directly from the Careers section of the WFM website;

Working with us

Our Team Members make us who we are by being who they are. Not only are our Team Members the secret to our continued success, they have also made us one of Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” every year since the list’s inception. As the saying goes around here, without our Team Members, “we’re just four walls and food.”

WFM has been on that list every year for 30 years until now...

Not to take away from the main point- that WFM is a far poorer place to work than in prior years- but wouldn't you be looking for Amazon on the list, rather than WFM?

Did we even take the survey for this? Do you think that anyone at global/regional offices will even notice? Grab your popcorn-the house of cards is collapsing!
