What internal resource can I use to find more info about SERB? Please share.

Call Fidelity. The administer the pension and 401k plans. HR may not be able to answer all the questions correctly because they are generalists and do not specialize in compensation. Good luck.
It should have been in your paperwork as an option, if it's viable. I would email your HR rep. It might be a few days before you get an answer, but that's what I'd recommend.
I still have the company's hourly Pension retirement plan and it's great. There new plan is a 401k with a 2% match.
@rgw I do not think that was the question (% matching on the 401K)
Pepsi has both the 401K and a pension plan for all employees. The 401K is matched up to four percent.
