Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Wednesday and Thursday layoffs

From what I was hearing by the end of working hours, we are far from done with this. Layoffs will most likely continue today and tomorrow.

In my opinion, it would have been ten times easier on everybody if they finished this in one go. Prolonging it just seems as an unnecessary punishment.

Two more weeks? Wow. Which function/location are you if you don't mind sharing?

Pepsico HR has no idea how to handle this situation. Incompetent. Purely administrative

The challenge I see ahead is that they laid off people who had tons of work on their plates with no more staff to handle that workload, it'll make working there even that much more painful.

No consideration for the folks that were let go nor for the folks who are left over.

I feel the same. I keep checking my email and I'm dreading going into work. I lost half my team yesterday.

Agree. I had a terrible time sleeping last night and dread going into the office this morning. The waiting and not knowing your future is anguish.
