One or two weeks per year?

A little off topic but I was one who had a job elimination in 2010 after the buyout. I received 26 weeks pay and insurance and a lump sum of of projected bonus, and a lump sum of 35 weeks pay for the 35 weeks I worked there. I started in1975 loading trucks and worked my way to a nice position. I was not escorted out, as I hear is happening now. I was actually asked by my manager to come in Saturday and clean out my office because he thought the frontline employees seeing the person with the longest ammount of time, and a good work record carrying his things would be bad for morale. I refused to do that.
So far, the only reports I've heard is from people who have been with the company for substantial periods. It sounds like the small number means that they aren't targeting people who might normally be lost to attrition, but instead longer term employees who were likely to stay. Anyone 8 years or more would be covered under the 2 months WARN act without any further severance needed.
Is that two weeks per year in addition to the two month from not giving 60 days notice (WARN Act)?
Better than I thought, to be honest.
I just got laid off - literally 15 minutes ago - my first stop, thelayoff.com - two things:
1.) F--- them - I am ready to move one and I'll be fine. I have skills and if they do not want me, f--- them...
2.) Severance - it's OK - you get 2 weeks per year of service - my three months will do just fine...
Two weeks...
It would be nice to know, if somebody wouldn't mind sharing...
